The most important fact is that the kids and parents are aware that there is funding available for them to participate in a sport at a young age so that it is just second nature and not something they need to fight for.

Empower Play is a non-profit organization that was incorporated December 21 2014. The organization was created in order to provide the youth of Sarnia-Lambton a financial backing to help them realize their dreams of success in both athletics and the arts.

Who We Are

Why we are Important

Empower Play Inc. believes that every kid should be given the same opportunities regardless of their financial situation. In the past, society has limited these opportunities to further in competition to people who can afford it, or are willing to make stressful financial sacrifices in hopes of seeing their children succeed. We will remove the financial barrier associated with success at higher levels of competition. This will increase overall competition in any playing field- allowing people who would not otherwise be able to participate in various activities, to excel in them.

Empower Play works with schools and organizations to financially empower them to accept participants at no charge or a subsidized fee so that they are given the same opportunity to dedicate themselves to success as everyone else is.Through our programs and camps, kids will learn various life skills such as team work, leadership, and work ethic. Our dedicated coaches will continue to learn these same life skills as they pass on their knowledge to the leaders of tomorrow.

We empower participation. We help mold the leaders of tomorrow. We let dedication, hard work, and passion drive success-not money. Not only do we create new dreams, we give them life so that they can come true.

Our Volunteers

Our Volunteer structure will be unique. Youth who have been assisted by Empower Play Inc. will be required to donate a portion of their time in order to help other, younger youth who are in the same position that they were in.  Volunteer coaches will be coached on our programs and educated on various coaching practices.  The more dedicated coaches will be sent to coaching clinics in order to improve their knowledge and abilities- so that we can truly maximize the potential of all youth.

Our Volunteers

We would like to thank our community supporters for all of their contributions towards Empower Play Inc.!
